Large Holiday Home with Space for the Whole Family – Including Pool, Spa, and Activities

Welcome to this wonderful holiday home, offering plenty of space for large families or multiple families who want to vacation together. The house is packed with facilities and invites hours of entertainment and relaxation for both children and adults.

This spacious pool house accommodates up to 26 guests and features 10 bedrooms, divided into three separate sleeping areas. This makes it easy to retreat for some peace and quiet after a day of activities. Additionally, there are six extra sleeping spaces in the lofts, best suited for children.

In the large activity room, you can challenge each other to table tennis, billiards, table football, and darts—or enjoy a drink at the cozy bar. There’s also the option to unwind with a PlayStation in front of the TV in the lounge area. There’s plenty of space for both play and socializing.

In the inviting pool area, you can take a dip in the 23 m² swimming pool, which features a water slide, Roman steps, and a counter-current system. For those seeking relaxation, there is access to both a hot tub and a sauna, where you can let the calm wash over you.

The large kitchen-dining area is the natural gathering point of the house. There’s ample space around the long dining table, and the kitchen is well-equipped with two stoves, two dishwashers, two sinks, and plenty of fridge and freezer space. This area also includes a wood-burning stove and a cozy lounge with a TV.

Outside, there is plenty of space for fun and relaxation. On the partially covered terrace, you can enjoy meals from the grill while the children play in the sandbox, on the swings, or jump on the trampoline.

The holiday home is located in the popular Houstrup Beach area on the west coast of Jutland. Here you’ll find a beautiful white sandy beach with a Blue Flag, perfect for swimming and refreshing walks. The area is surrounded by stunning nature, ideal for hiking and cycling. Nearby, you’ll also find exciting attractions such as WOW-Park, Blåbjerg Dune, and LEGOLAND®.

About Houstrup Strand

Here, the ocean is hidden behind the large dunes where you can find shelter in one of the hollows. A part of the beach is for nudists while the other part is for everyone else. The access to the beach is covered by wood chips, making it easier for families with children or walking-impaired to cross the dunes. You are not allowed to drive on the beach but there is free parking close to the beach. Do remember to enjoy your walk to the beach which gives you a beautiful sight of the open spaces and good sandy beach.

The area surrounding Houstrup Strand has an interesting and varied wildlife. The nearby Blåbjerg Plantation is a lovely natural area we can only recommend you explore. You can go for walks or bike rides in the plantation and experience Denmark's largest dune that rises 64 M.A.S.L. There are Put and Take fishing lakes, pay and play golf courses and horseback riding in the area and finally you will find the region's largest water park at Houstrup Strand.

Houstrup Strand is also a good starting point for a number of trips, approx. 15 km from Houstrup Strand you can visit Bork which during the summer has a lifelike Viking village with Viking ships sailing Ringkøbing Fjord or you can take the children to the indoor play centre also located in Bork. Some of the largest attractions of the area, e.g. Legoland or Givskud Zoo, are located approx. 1 hours drive from Houstrup Strand.

The south western coast is a summer paradise. Nothing compares to the wide and sandy beaches, high dunes and cosy hollows where you can settle down and enjoy your privacy.

For many tourists, the visit to the south western coast means love at first sight. This place offers everything: Long walks under the blue sky, the clouds with their strange forms changing all the time while you are comfortably lying on the beach listening to the sound of the waves, perfect wide beaches where to fly a kite and the sea and the Ringkøbing Fiord - the windsurfers’ paradise. If you prefer to remain at the edge of the water, you can collect amber and shells. Each and everyone can feel free and at ease. Outside the summer season, when the wind blows heavily, there is a really special atmosphere at the west coast. Feel the wind in your hair and return to your cosy house for a nice cup of coffee in front of the fireplace.

In this area you will find the famous holiday resorts like Blåvand and Henne Strand. Blåvand is situated at the westernmost point in Denmark, surrounded by water with the Ho Bugt to the east, the Esperance Bugt to the south and the North Sea to the west. When going a little bit northward on the coast you will find Henne Strand. Both holidays resorts are known for their beach life, shopping and activities for children. The magnificent nature here is consisting in heather areas, dunes and beaches. A summer holiday in this part of Denmark means a fantastic beach holiday.

Rental agreement and directions

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Time of arrival

Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. Extras

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.

When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.

You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.

Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
