About the holiday home

This lovely holiday home is located very close to Henne Strand. The holiday home is surrounded by a lovely wooden terrace and has plenty of sheltered nooks. From the terrace, there is a slightly steep staircase to the top of a dune, from where there is the most beautiful view of both the town and the beach. The holiday home has an open-plan living room and kitchen, and as in most holiday homes, the wood-burning stove is located so that it can be enjoyed from both the kitchen and the living room. A really lovely and cosy holiday home in the middle of the West Jutland countryside in Henne, yet within walking and cycling distance of the town with its many cafés and shops, as well as the beach, which is one of the best along the West Jutland coast. The Henne Strand area has some beautiful scenery that includes sand dunes, moors and forest. Besides the wonderful countryside, Henne Strand also has great places to eat and shop and lots of activities for both children and adults in the immediate vicinity. Visit the cosy square just in front of the slope leading down to the beach, which is a popular place for the whole family to get together in its restaurants, cafes, shops and playground.

Henne Strand has one of Europe's most beautiful sandy beaches. The approx. 16 km of white sandy beach invites you to play, build sandcastles or take long walks along the water's edge and, if you are lucky, you might even find a piece of amber. There is plenty of room to splash about in the blue waves, sunbathe in the dunes or even fly a kite if you wish. From the end of June to the end of August, Henne Strand is manned by lifeguards.

The natural surroundings nearby include places such as Blåbjerg Plantation with its 64- metre-high "mountain" where you can enjoy the fantastic view, Filsø, Denmark's sixth largest lake in an area that is full of wildlife and Henne Mølleå (or stream) that flows out into the North Sea.

Popular excursion destinations such as Legoland and Givskud Zoo are just an hour's drive from Henne Strand. Both attractions were voted among Denmark´s attractions in 2017. Rental agreement and directions

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. Extras

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.

When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.

You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.

Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
