About the holiday home

There has been no expense spared with this holiday home, with its 70 m² indoor swimming pool and perfect location, surrounded with wonderful nature and right next to a small lake, and with all the facilities and amenities that you can imagine.

This holiday home is a rural paradise for the family or larger groups who got high standard of comfort and location. Maybe you want do celebrate someone or something special or perhaps just spice up your everyday life, if so then this Holiday home is something for you with its beautiful and relaxing nature and the many activities possible in the area during spring, summer and autumn.

With the forest and wilderness right outside the threshold, this holiday home is far away from the traffic and noise from the city.
The property has a separated beautiful pool house (200m2) with an indoor swimming pool (70m2 wide and 1, 5 deep). Here you can relax in the sauna after each refreshing swim in the pool. Right next to the pool there is a lovely relax area including leather sofas and TV-corner with high quality surround system, and during the cool evenings you can gather around the wood burning stove and warm yourselves.
If you are hungry or thirsty after the swim there is only to provide yourselves with food in the complete kitchen area. Located in the pool house is also a bedroom equip with a double bed and a private shower and WC, perfect for couples or youngsters who would like some private time.

In the main building there is another kitchen with a dining area big enough for 20 people. In the lovely living room (90 m²) you all can gather around and watch your favorite programs on the 63” inch TV. Other activities you can do in the living room are play dart, table tennis, pool or play with the soccer table across the room. From the living room you can experience the view over the little lake and the birches next to the shore. Outside on the patio there is a big grill and workbench where you can sit and enjoy the afternoon and evening sun.
There is one bed room on the ground floor and two more on the upper floor.
Approximately 30 m away from the house in the annex, there is an additional very pleasant bed room equipped with a double bed.

The two houses are heated by geothermal heat and the pool is heated by solar energy, which means that the electricity consumption will remain on an attractive level.

The holiday home have a plot of 27600 m², and there is only 50 m to the small lake where you can fish for pike and perch, the beach is reeded therefore there is a bridge for those who want to reach the boat.
There is a larger lake with a nice bathing spot with a shallow beach about 5km away named Örsjön.
On the ground there is also a barbecue area about 100m away from the house, where you can sit around the cracking fire and enjoy the company.
Perhaps someone will bring a guitar and increase the coziness and atmosphere even more.

Firewood can be purchased from the owner (500 SEK/m3)

You will arrive to the holiday home trough scenic roads where traffic is almost nonexistent. The only neighbor is two houses located about 100 m away.

The cottage can not be rent by youth groups!

Sweden is water, water and water

Sweden has been admitted to UNESCO's list of world heritage for its unique coastline. Middle and north of Sweden have countless rivers, lakes and streams criss-crossing the country. Sometimes you get the feeling that the country is swimming with only forests and fields acting as links between rivers and lakes. This is particular noticeable for the middle part of Sweden where the ice age left plain tracks. Thousands of lakes fill the gorges created when the ice retracted to the North.

At the exact place where the river Mälaren with fresh water meets the salt water from the Baltic you will find Stockholm spread across 14 islands and islets. But there is more: The Stockholm skerries just a few minutes sailing from the capital is comprised by a total of 24.000 islands and islets.

The Siljan lake is located in the middle part of Sweden called Dalarna. The lake and the surrounding towns are regarded as the historical centre of the country. From here, Sweden gradually becomes more raw and deserted. In Norrland, the only sound you hear in the enormous forests is from the roaring rivers.

For centuries, the rivers have been used for transporting logs to the coast. And where the rivers flow into the ocean is where the first settlements were founded several thousands of years ago. Midsummer in Sweden

The midsummer party in Sweden is truly unique. To many it is a symbol of the lightness, the light and the life force symbolic of the Nordic summer. Midsummer in Sweden is the biggest celebration of solstice in Scandinavia.

When the most Swedish of Swedish parties approach, the whole country is exited. Midsummer is traditionally a feast celebrated with family and friends, but if you are a tourist you are welcome to join the festivities. It is celebrated all over the country - by the coast, in the skerries, by idyllic lakes, in the mountains or one of the islands. All is good, as long as there is plenty of pristine and diverse nature around.

Before the holiday

Rental agreement and route description

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Notice of arrival

If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.

Time of arrival Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.

Extras

On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.

On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.

All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.

Pets

If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.

Ferry connections and bridge crossings

If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing. If you choose to go by ferry please remember to order your tickets well in advance.
