Welcome to this charming upstairs apartment with a private entrance – the perfect starting point for wonderful excursions! Just nearby, you can admire the shimmering waters of Lake Lelången, while still being close to everything Bengtsfors has to offer.

From the kitchen, you are greeted by a calming view of the lake, an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee while the sun sparkles on the water. The kitchen is equipped with a kettle, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and stove. The accommodation offers a lovely combination of comfort and functionality. In the living room, you will find the sleeping arrangements consisting of a double bed and an extra bed. Please note that the fireplace is decorative only and may not be used.

The bathroom is equipped with a WC and shower. Access to a washing machine is available in a separate laundry room on the ground floor and may be used upon agreement with the owner.

The property is shared with the owner, whose house is located approximately 12 meters away. However, your accommodation has its own separate part of the garden and offers partial privacy. Within convenient walking distance, about 400 meters away, you will find the bathing area Sågudden. There are also several places in the municipality where you can rent a canoe and explore the waterways.

This accommodation is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, close proximity to nature, and a relaxing place to unwind after a day filled with activities and adventures along the beautiful walking trails and cycling paths in the area.

Before the holiday

Rental agreement and route description

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Notice of arrival

If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.

Time of arrival Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.

Extras

On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.

On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.

All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.

Pets

If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.

Ferry connections and bridge crossings

If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing. If you choose to go by ferry please remember to order your tickets well in advance.
