The apartment is part of a pleasant residential community featuring modern holiday homes—arranged as semi-detached houses and small clusters—located just a stone's throw from the water. The surrounding area offers saltwater swimming, forest walks, and a coastal landscape that invites both relaxation and exploration.

Built in 1993 and renovated in recent years, the property offers a bright, fresh, and modern living space.

The hallway provides space for outerwear, and directly adjacent is the bathroom, equipped with a toilet, washbasin, and shower. The kitchen and living room feature an open, sociable layout with a dining area and a seating area, ensuring the stunning sea view accompanies you throughout your holiday.

Situated on the ground floor in a prime waterfront position, the apartment offers an unobstructed, magical view of the Koljö Fjord. Dogs are also welcome here.

There are two bedrooms. One is furnished with a double bed (two 80 cm mattresses) featuring a large topper. The second bedroom contains a sturdy single bed (90 cm) and a practical, simpler fold-down upper bunk (80 cm) that is easily lowered when needed. The living room also features a smaller sofa bed (140 cm) that sleeps two people.

Bjällansås offers an excellent base for exploring some of Bohuslän’s most popular attractions. Meet the animals at Nordens Ark, go swimming and crab fishing in one of the many bays, or take the ferry to charming Fiskebäckskil and Lysekil. There, you will find Havets Hus (an aquarium), cozy ice cream parlors, and pleasant areas for a leisurely stroll.

For those who prefer a more active holiday, there are opportunities to rent kayaks, hit the hiking trails, or join boat tours through the archipelago. You might also want to take a day trip to Smögen with its famous wooden pier, or visit Tjörn and the Pilane Sculpture Park.

At the same time, there is every reason to simply stay put and enjoy the local area. Take a morning dip from the rocks, spend the day at the beach, or gather the family at one of the barbecue areas for an open-air dinner. Families with children will especially appreciate having the accommodation so close to the beach—the little ones can easily pop inside for a rest or a snack without the whole family having to pack up the car. There is also a playground on the premises.

The terrain is hilly and includes some stairs, but the reward is the constant proximity to the sea view. It is easy to pause for a moment, take in the scenery, and then continue your walk.

Before the holiday

Rental agreement and route description

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Notice of arrival

If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.

Time of arrival Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.

Extras

On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.

On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.

All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.

Pets

If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.

Ferry connections and bridge crossings

If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing. If you choose to go by ferry please remember to order your tickets well in advance.
