Beautifully situated holiday cottage in Lyngen - right by the picturesque seafront of Ullsfjorden, east of Tromsø. The view is spectacular - a 180 degree panoramic view of the impressive fjord, and the bird island Fugløya can be seen further out in the sea. Facing the fjord, the big windows and glass doors, along with the partly covered 150 square meter big terrace, gives you a feeling of being in touch with nature and sea. In the outdoor jacuzzi/massage bath that fits 6 people, you can enjoy the beautiful view and the fresh ocean air at all times of the year. The bright spring and summer nights, bathing the surrounding landscape in red light, will give you everlasting memories. On stormy days you can sit in a hut on the waterfront, right in front of the house, and see, feel and actually taste the big waves splashing in on the beach. The dark and snowy winters are also a great experience here. Especially when the Northern Light is colorfully dancing across the sky. Lyngen is one of the best areas for spotting Northern Lights, and by being remotely situated, the house and the hut on the waterfront gives you the greatest view. Here you can sit with warm beverages and enjoy this natural phenomenon. To the south you can see the mighty mountains of Lyngsalpene. These are popular for hiking and skiing in the winter. The area around the house has several signed hiking trails. After lovely days with skiing, enjoy the warm sauna in the annex of the house. The property consists of a spacious main house with bathroom, a modern kitchen, living room with wooden floors, dining room, as well as 5 bedrooms. The single beds can be combined into double beds. In the annex there are bedrooms and a bathroom, in addition to an extra kitchen and living room. This holiday home is therefore perfect for a larger group or families travelling together. Internet and satelite dish with many international channels is available. Lyngen is an eldorado for sport fishing, both coastal and inland. You can fish in the fjord with rods right outside the house, either from boat or land. In addition to regular sea fishing, you can catch salmon, sea trout and char. Rent a 19 ft Kværnø boat with automatic drainage and 90 hp Honda outboard motor. It has sonar, lowerance chartplotter/gps, 10 rodholders. The boat is located by a floating dock 2 km from the house. The boat is available between May 1st and October 1st. By the boat house on the property is a covered fish cleaning table with lights and running water. There are several lakes in the area, rich with fish like trout and char. Remember to buy a fishing license. Lyngen is known for its rich bird- and wildlife. Especially in spring when the birds return from the south to breed, the area is a great experience for nature lovers. The spectacular nature in Lyngen inspires road trips. Visit Tromsø with its many sights, shops and restaurants. To the south is the Polarzoo where you can have a close up experience with polar animals like wolf, wolverine, lynx and bear.

If you have booked a holiday home in Norway, you may need to book a ferry crossing. Please remember to order your tickets well in advance. Further information concerning ferry connections, please see VisitNorway.
Many Norwegian holiday homes are located on small islands, but regardless of where a house is located, the easiest way to reach the holiday home will often be to go by the ferry. Consequently it is a good idea to check the various ferry possibilities. On VisitNorway you will find a list of all the ferries in Norway.
In some cities such as Oslo and Bergen a toll fee must be paid when entering/leaving the city. There are also many rather small roads privately administrated in Norway. Also here you will have to pay.
