Holiday Home with Swimming Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna and Space for Pets near Houstrup Beach

When the whole family goes on holiday together, it can be difficult to find a holiday home that is large enough for everyone – but that is certainly not a problem here! This spacious holiday home can accommodate up to 22 guests and has 8 bedrooms, as well as 4 sleeping places in Loft 1 and 2 sleeping places in Loft 2. The lofts are always a popular choice among children and teenagers.

And the four-legged members of the family are welcome too! 🐾

The holiday home is pet-friendly, so you don't have to leave your dog at home when the whole family goes on holiday.

The holiday home is located near Houstrup Beach on Denmark's beautiful West Coast and is packed with activities for both young and old. Challenge each other to a game of pool, table tennis or table football. In the activity room, you will also find darts and a PlayStation 4. Cold drinks can be served from the bar in the corner.

If you prefer wellness and relaxation, you are also well catered for. After a swim in the 20 m² indoor swimming pool, you can relax in the luxurious bubbling hot tub or enjoy the warmth of the sauna. The pool has Roman steps for easy access, a water slide and a counter-current system.

The large open-plan kitchen and living area provides plenty of space for the whole family to spend time together. You can bake cakes, play games or watch a film together. The kitchen is well equipped to make cooking for a large group easier, with two ovens, two dishwashers, two sinks and plenty of refrigerator and freezer space. The living room also has a wood-burning stove, creating a cosy atmosphere and warmth on cooler days.

The holiday home's eight bedrooms are divided into three separate sleeping areas, each with its own bathroom. This is ideal for several families travelling together who would still like to have a little peace and privacy.

Large, Fully Fenced Garden with Plenty of Space to Play Outside, there is plenty of space and lots of opportunities for fun and games. The garden is fully fenced, allowing children to play safely and freely. The fenced garden is also a great advantage for families bringing their dog on holiday.

The garden includes a swing set and sandbox, while the large lawn is perfect for ball games and other outdoor activities.

We are continuously working to make the holiday home even better and more comfortable. In September 2026, we have added two new sofas, as well as several new garden chairs and sun loungers. All the handles in the kitchen have been replaced, and several lamps have also been renewed.

We also hope that a new trampoline will be installed during this week, giving the children even more opportunity to enjoy the garden.

The terrace has a barbecue and outdoor furniture, making it the perfect place for a cosy family barbecue and relaxing summer evenings outdoors.

Experiences around Houstrup Beach

Houstrup is known for its beautiful, wide sandy beach and stunning dune landscape. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag and is therefore an ideal destination for a family day out. In summer, you can relax in the sunshine, while on cooler days the beach is perfect for walks, water sports and many other activities.

There are shopping facilities and restaurants not far from the holiday home. Blåbjerg Klitplantage is a beautiful nature area, perfect for walks, enjoying nature and mountain biking.

The south western coast is a summer paradise. Nothing compares to the wide and sandy beaches, high dunes and cosy hollows where you can settle down and enjoy your privacy.

For many tourists, the visit to the south western coast means love at first sight. This place offers everything: Long walks under the blue sky, the clouds with their strange forms changing all the time while you are comfortably lying on the beach listening to the sound of the waves, perfect wide beaches where to fly a kite and the sea and the Ringkøbing Fiord - the windsurfers’ paradise. If you prefer to remain at the edge of the water, you can collect amber and shells. Each and everyone can feel free and at ease. Outside the summer season, when the wind blows heavily, there is a really special atmosphere at the west coast. Feel the wind in your hair and return to your cosy house for a nice cup of coffee in front of the fireplace.

In this area you will find the famous holiday resorts like Blåvand and Henne Strand. Blåvand is situated at the westernmost point in Denmark, surrounded by water with the Ho Bugt to the east, the Esperance Bugt to the south and the North Sea to the west. When going a little bit northward on the coast you will find Henne Strand. Both holidays resorts are known for their beach life, shopping and activities for children. The magnificent nature here is consisting in heather areas, dunes and beaches. A summer holiday in this part of Denmark means a fantastic beach holiday.

South-west Jutland - Wadden Sea, oisters, seals and authentic island holidays

We begin at the sourt-west part of the country with the wide marsh land and the Wadden sea which is part of UNESCO's World Heritage List. A good way to experience the area is by walking the Wadden Sea or trying an oister or seal safari. Rømø is southernmost island of the Wadden Sea and it has some of the widest sandy beaches in Europe. North of Rømø, located across the sea from Denmark's oldest town Ribe, you will find Mandø, which is another of the natural gems of Denmark. And last, but not least, there is the old holiday island Fanø with its charming towns Nordby and Sønderho along with the magnificent beaches at Fanø Bad and Rindby Strand.

Ocean and fjord - popular beaches with endless horizons

Just a few kilometres north of Fanø you will find some of Denmark's most popular holiday areas like beads on a string. In Blåvand, Henne and Vejers you will find fantastic beaches and endless horizons. The towns are especially known for their beach life, shopping and large number of activities for children. On some of the beaches you can find remnants from the past in the abandoned bunkers from World War 2. In 2017, the Tirpitz Museum designed by the renowned designer Bjarke Ingels opened in Blåvand. The museum is a portal to the secret treasures of the west coast. And unlike the colossal and invasive cement bunkers the Tirpitz is open and beautifully integrated in the dunes.

On the islands Rømø, Mandø and Fanø you can experience the powerful Wadden Sea. Here nature has the power. It is for instance only possible to go to Mandø at low tide. The Wadden Sea has a unique and rich wild life with especially migrating birds feeding on their way south. On Fanø you can see a large number of seals. If you plan to visit one or more of the islands it is a good idea to bring your bike. The islands have bike trails leading you through the countryside. All 3 islands also have amazing beaches. In Esbjerg, the biggest town of the region, has a lot of cultural offers and fine shopping possibilities. Visit the Esbjerg Art Museum or the Esbjerg water tower, one of the landmarks of the town. You may also try a seal safari at the east coast of Fanø or go by boat to Horns Rev Havmøllepark, (offshore windmill park) one of the biggest of its kind in the world. From Esbjerg you can go by ferry to Fanø.

Rental agreement and directions

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Time of arrival

Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. Extras

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.

When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.

You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.

Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
