About the holiday home

Close to the beach and town – everything within reach:
From the apartment it is only 200 meters to the beach, and you can easily find your way via Søndre Strandvej. Access to the apartment is via the back stairs to Løkkenshus, where you should keep an eye out for the sign By Sommerhuse. The home has a small kitchen area and a bright bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower – perfect for a relaxing holiday. On the way to the water you will pass both cafes, restaurants and small specialty shops.

Combine beach life with experiences and activities:
With this location it is easy to combine a lazy holiday with city life and experiences. Try your hand at paddleboarding or a dip in the North Sea, or take a trip to Løkken Sports Center with a swimming pool, paddle courts and fitness. If you want more action, Action House with go-karting, bowling and a play area is just a few minutes away. You can also go on day trips to, for example, Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, Lønstrup or Blokhus. In the summer the city is buzzing with life with many different events.

The apartment is non-smoking and is not available for youth groups. Please note that there is no TV in the apartment.

• Rebooking is allowed once within the same booking year.

• A refundable deposit may be required prior to arrival to cover consumption and any extras. Final charges will be based on actual consumption, and any remaining balance will be refunded within 21 days of check-out.

• Forgotten items will be returned for a postage fee plus a handling fee of DKK 150.

• Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is no later than 10:00 AM.

• Keys are to be handed in and returned via the on-site key box.

Løkken is a popular holiday destination for children and parents on their holiday home vacation. Løkken has changed from an old fishing port into a popular tourist and holiday destination. Løkken has various sights, a great beach and a vibrant nightlife. Løkken Strand is unique - for besides its white, fine sand and clean water you will both find the White Town and bunkers from World War 2 on the 19 km long sandy beach. During the summer you can see the many white beach houses on the beach, a beautiful sight. According to rules and tradition, the houses must be white and are therefore known as the White Town. The beach is also perfect for various activities, e.g. ball games, kite flying, splashing in the ocean or just enjoying the sun on a relaxing day.

In Løkken you will find Løkken fishing park, open all year. The fishing park is approx. 5-6 acres and is a unique natural area. The 2 large lakes with sand bottom, surrounded by a high bank and forest, have rainbow trout and creek trouts ranging from 1 - 10 kilos.

Løkken has a large number of good eateries and in centre of town you will find the brewery. The beer is made according to tradition and a visit here is a very special experience - whether you like beer or not. For the children, a visit to the hard candy maker is a must. Rental agreement and directions

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. Extras

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.

When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.

You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.

Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
