Not far from the waves, sand, and the fantastic bathing beach in Marielyst, you will find this holiday home with a swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna. The house offers plenty of space for the whole family or several couples who want to spend their vacation together. The holiday home's inviting location by the water means you can enjoy many hours in beautiful nature, and many hours of fun and relaxation are also guaranteed indoors.

The holiday home boasts its own wellness area, where you can take a refreshing dip in the 18 m2 swimming pool. The pool has a water slide and counter-current system, which is a huge hit with the holiday home's guests. The true wellness feeling really creeps in when you take a trip to the room's sauna or hot tub.

In addition to the popular pool area, you can compete in the large activity and games room. Here you can play billiards, table tennis, table football, and darts. A well-deserved break can be taken in the room's sofa group by the TV – here you can compete on the PS4 (bring your own games) or read a good book. Furthermore, you can enjoy a pleasant chat in the room's bar, where drinks can be cooled in the bar's own refrigerator.

The gathering point of the cottage is in the kitchen/family room, which acts as the center of the cottage. Here there is room for conversation and socializing around the large dining table, where there is plenty of room for everyone to gather. The kitchen itself is also well-equipped and allows for several people to help with the food. A sofa group is located close to the cottage's wood-burning stove, where cozy warmth can spread on cool days.

If you are lucky enough to have good weather, you can enjoy delicious dinners on the partially covered terrace. Here, food can be prepared on the grill while the children play in the garden.

The cottage's 12 beds are divided into six double rooms, and there are four extra beds in the loft. Each section has its own bathroom, not to mention the shared bathroom in the pool area.

The area also has a large communal nature playground and a bouncy castle, which can be used by guests in the area.

The cottage is located in a car-free area, which means that parking is not available at the individual houses, but in a shared parking lot in the area. However, it is possible to unload luggage or charge your electric car at a turning area by the house.

About Falster

Falster is a relatively flat island with a landscape that varies from open fields to thick forests, and with a large number of good sand beaches.

Falster offers a lot of opportunities to enjoy an active holiday outdoors. You will find many places offering horseback trips e.g. through the forests on special tracks for horseback riding or at Sønder Kohave in Nykøbing Falster, an old forest with some of its trees more than 200 years old. Falster also offers a lot of good fishing spots. Take a trip along the coasts and try your luck at catching garfish, trout and cod or go for the more safe approach and visit one of the many Put and Take lakes. Since Falster is a flat island, exploring the area on bicycles is an obvious choice, and bike rentals are found in many places.

Falster’s largest town is Nykøbing Falster at Guldborgsund (sound). The town has a lot of historic interesting houses and places, the town square among others, dating back to the Medieval. The town’s most known building is Klosterkirken, a gothic church from the 15th century. Take a trip to Guldborgsund Zoo or the Medieval Centre, an exhibition of life in the late 14th century with various exhibitions and workshops for the children.

The southern part of Falster has the holiday town Marielyst which is especially known for one of the best beaches in Denmark. The town is visited by a large number of happy holiday guests, giving the town a lively atmosphere. During the summer the small town has a lot of shops, restaurants and discotheques.

South of Marielyst is Gedser Odde (cape), the southern most point in Denmark. The cape has some 5-7 metres high cliffs best explored on walking trips along the coast. A lot of birdwatchers come here to watch the migrating birds, especially in the fall.

Before the holiday

Rental agreement and directions

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. Extras

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.

When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.

You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.

Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
