Vacation apartment on Klitten in Søndervig

Bright and friendly furnished holiday apartment with hot tub and sauna in a unique location. The North Sea and Søndervig Badeby are right outside the door. The apartment is in Swedish farmhouse style for 6 people, 91 m2 on 2 floors.

Each dune farm consists of 4 apartments with their own entrance. The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen, dining area, and living room. The kitchen has a convection oven and dishwasher.

Cosy dining area and living room with wood-burning stove. Nice bathroom with underfloor heating, shower, 2-person spa bath, washing machine and dryer, as well as direct access to the sauna. Separate room with toilet and washbasin. Cable TV and free 100/100 Mb fibre Internet with Wi-Fi.

From the kitchen/living room, there is direct access to a lovely private south- and west-facing terrace surrounded by a wooden fence with good garden furniture, where you can enjoy the sun and use the barbecue for dinner.

On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms, both with two good box mattresses. In the living room, there is a sofa bed for two people.

Beautiful nature experiences right outside the door: Take walks along the white sandy beach and swim in the North Sea. Søndervig is a charming seaside resort with all modern amenities. It is lively and vibrant, yet offers plenty of opportunities for peace and relaxation. Enjoy the central location and leave the car behind. A well-stocked supermarket, bakery, cafes, restaurants, shopping opportunities, mini golf, and water park are within walking distance. Bring your bikes and enjoy the beautiful nature on the hiking and cycling trail between Søndervig and Hvide Sande. An 18-hole golf course and fishing lakes are a 5-minute drive from Søndervig.

The beautiful fishing village of Hvide Sande and the market town of Ringkøbing with its cobbled streets are less than a quarter of an hour's drive away. Both towns offer good shopping, seafood restaurants, and specialty shops. At Ringkøbing Fjord, you can try water sports such as surfing, cable skiing, and stand-up paddleboarding. You can also visit Lyngvig Lighthouse, Fiskeriets Hus (the House of Fishing), Abelines Gård, Ringkøbing Museum, Naturkraft, WOW activity park, and Stauning Whisky.

Spend your holiday at Danland's holiday centres in Søndervig

A holiday in one of Danland's holiday centres offers facilities that you wont find at a holiday home. In Søndervig you will find Feriecenter Søndervig and feriecenter Klitten .

At the holiday centre in Søndervig the subtropical water park with the 50 metres long water slide and various water activities are part of your holiday. About Holmsland Klit

Holmsland Klit is the long and narrow isthmus sheltering Ringkøbing Fiord from the North Sea. This dune is about 40 kilometers long and 1-2 kilometers wide. This exceptional piece of Denmark between the North Sea and Ringkøbing Fiord is characterized by high dunes, heather areas and green meadows.

In the middle of it all you have Hvide Sande, and here you will find the only lock in Ringkøbing Fiord. Hvide Sande is a holiday resort with endless, white beaches and a lovely holiday atmosphere, especially during summer time. Do you want to go fishing or windsurfing – or do you prefer a nice walk or a bike ride? In Hvide Sande it is not easy to choose among the many exciting activities.

South of Ringkøbing is Blåbjerg Klitplantage where you can find the highest dune in Denmark (64 meters). The plantation is consisting in wood and heather areas rich in animal life, and here you will find one of the largest red deer stands in Denmark.

If you want to play golf, you can choose among the following fine golf courses of the area: Holmsland Klit Golfklub just north of Holmsland Klit, Henne Golfklub south of Holmsland Klit and Dejbjerg Golfklub east of Ringkøbing Fiord.

Before the holiday

Rental agreement and directions

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.

On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.

Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. Extras

All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.

When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.

You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.

Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
