Welcome to this nicely renovated house on Fisketången, a picturesque and maritime area of Kungshamn. Perfect location for those who want to live close to salt baths and Kungshamn center. It is walking distance to several baths, jetties and boathouse areas where you can sunbathe, swim, jump from a trampoline or fish for crabs, at Tången's bathing area there is also a handicap ramp. Feel free to take a trip down among the boathouses, maybe some fishing boat has come ashore with today's catch that you can buy and enjoy. Kungshamn and the adjacent Smögen also offer the opportunity to rent a kayak or boat so you can explore the beautiful archipelago on your own. If you want to take a look under the sea surface, there are diving experiences from both land and boat.
The house has a generous and open floor plan with living room, kitchen and dining room with access to the terrace area with barbecue and several outdoor furniture groups. The kitchen is well equipped with i.a. dishwasher, fridge / freezer, microwave and in the dining room there is a heating wood burning stove. On the first floor there is also a bathroom with shower and a lovely bath. On the second floor there is a large living room with TV, three bedrooms, one with a double bed and two bedrooms with two single beds each. From the living room a steep staircase leads up to a cozy sleeping loft with double bed. The low ceiling height of 1.65 m reinforces this cozy and cozy environment. On the lawn outside the terrace area there is a trampoline. The house has a fiber connection.
On Sotenäset and in the immediate area are several fishing and stonemason communities with additional bathing areas as well as coastal paths and roads with a view of the Bohuslän archipelago.
From Kungshamn you can take a taxi boat and visit the lighthouse Hållö or to Smögen and continue to experience archipelago life and archipelago environment on the now world-famous pier with bustling life, shops, restaurants and a variety of different boats. A nice choice for a day trip is a visit to Nordens Ark, a zoo where you can meet about 80 of the world's endangered animals. There, in beautiful nature, you get the opportunity to meet animals such as wolves, snow leopards or to come face to face with the world's largest feline, the Amur tiger. In Väjern there is also Tumlaren, Sotenäs municipality's swimming pool and wellness facility with gym, wellness and indoor swimming pool.
West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.
Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.
Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.
Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.
The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.
At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.
On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.
If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
Time of arrival Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.
On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.
All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.
On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.
All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.
If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing.
