About the holiday home

This very spacious house is located in beautiful Saltkällan with proximity to interesting excursion destinations such as Uddevalla, Torp Shopping Center, Smögen, Kungshamn and Lysekil. It is only 150m to the swimming opportunity and to the beautiful bathing place where you almost get the feeling that you have gone to the beaches of the Mediterranean, it is 500m. The house has a huge terrace that is larger than the house's floor space and large lovely lawn on the slope.

The house has a welcoming hall and directly to the left a bedroom with a nice sofa bed (140cm). To the right is the living room with large dining area and exit via double glass doors to the large terrace. Inside the living room is another bedroom with a double bed (2 * 90cm).

Large and spacious kitchen with a view of the terrace at the back of the house and via a balcony door you can easily get out of here as well. Adjacent to the kitchen are 2 more bedrooms one with a bunk bed (2 * 80cm) and the other with a single bed (120cm). Bathroom with shower and fresh combustion toilet.

The pictures show the terrace without railings, but it will be there when you arrive.

In Uddevalla there are many activities. Take a shopping day at Torp Köpcentrum or why not explore Stella's Lekland, Moose of Anneröd with its fantastic moose park or a visit to Bohusläns Museum. Lovely Archipelago boats stop at several places with picturesque places to visit that are well worth a visit.

From the cottage you can easily make day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil or why not Liseberg in Gothenburg which is only about 60 minutes from here. Coastal communities such as Smögen, Kungshamn or Fjällbacka can be easily reached from the cottage.

Welcome to a wonderful holiday!

About the area

About Munkedal

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.

Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.

Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.

Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.

The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.

At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.
