What kind of information is collected and for what purpose
We are collecting information in a passive way when you are moving around at our pages. From this information we can see which pages you have visited, how long time you have spent on each page, when our pages are visited etc. DanCenter uses this information for statistic purposes, for planning of time schedules for the staff and for being able to develop the appropriate service for its customers.

The users of the internet pages can generate results on the site when keying in data. DanCenter uses these data for finishing the specific inquiry. Furthermore the information is used for statistic purposes and for making the pages more user friendly.

Collecting information in a passive way means that we cannot in any way identify the single person from whom we are picking up data.

The following information concerning the user is collected when she/he orders a catalogue or a holiday home:

Address

Telephone number

E-mail, if any

Above information is used for the rental agreement (together with the other information as to dispatch of catalogues or rental of holiday homes).

For how long time will the data be stored
The information collected as to catalogues or holiday homes are stored for 5 years.

In which way will the data be stored
We use "firewalls" in order to protect our internal data system and your personal data. A "firewall" is a barrier meant to prevent strangers from entering the system.

Who will use the stored data
All the info collected in relation to the use of the pages, when browsing or when ordering catalogues or booking holiday homes, will only be used by DanCenter A/S, i.e. we are not passing on the information to a third party.

Right of access to/ objections to the collected data
The information keyed in when you book something from the DanCenter internet pages is stored in our customer data base. As registered person you always have the possibility of getting access to the data, or you can raise objections to a registration according to the rules of the personal data legislation. If you wish to be cancelled from our customer file, you have to send a letter to: DanCenter A/S, Lyngbyvej 20; DK-2100 Copenhagen Ø., or you can e-mail us on booking@dancenter.com. In this way you can also get in touch with the person having data responsibility.

Cookies
A cookie is a small text file (some data) which is stored in your computer through your browser. It is a widely used technique enabling us to give you the appropriate information from our internet pages. You can adjust your browser to inform you when you receive a cookie so that you can get the possibility of accepting it. We use cookies, and in some cases log in, in order to continuously adapt our pages to the single visitor's need.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

Site administration:
We remember things for you so that you will avoid keying in the same information over and over again: for instance the keying in of country, region and holiday period - all data which are already in the memory whenever you make a new search.

We also ensure that you get the right information. A cookie might see to that your rental terms actually correspond to those valid for the country in which you are making your booking.

Language guiding
We see to that the pages you choose will be showed in the language chosen by you.

Agent identification
Some times you will reach our internet pages through another site. If we have made an agreement with the other site as to a remuneration for this service, we use cookies to identify the site of sender.

How to cancel a cookie
One of the characteristics about cookies is that they last a certain period of time. The language cookies of the DanCenter site expire after 5 years, while other cookies will expire after 2 hours or when replaced by a new cookie. DanCenter has been certified in accordance with the guiding lines of the W3C organisation as to security on the internet. Their demands describe, among other things, the demands to the personal data policy called P3P which have been elaborated in a co-operation with PricewaterhouseCoppers. This means that du can safely make inquiries and bookings through the internet pages of DanCenter.
