Sand and meadowsLimfjorden and its many combes and varied beaches form a kind of large inland sea bridge between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. In the holiday house areas you will find mainly sandy beaches of rather coarse sand grains and pebbles. Around Glyngøre there are large sandy beaches, while, if going north, you will find meadow areas stretching down to the sea.
