Adventures in East Jutland
You cannot beat the east coast of Jutland!
Remarkable nature experiences are waiting for you in the Søhøjlandet near Silkeborg, Skanderborg and Ry. The hilly area with lakes, Gudenåen and big forests is waiting for you - best way of visiting it all is by bike. From Silkeborg you can go to visit the Himmelbjerget (sky mountain) by the old paddle steamer of Hjejlen. The city of Vejle is also worth visiting - start your trip by driving through the Munkebjerg Skoven (forest), pass the big golf lane and the golf museum located on the southern part of Vejle Fjord and you will reach the town – a nice commercial centre with many interesting shops and restaurants. This town is probably the best example of a Danish "mountain town" with houses and streets in more levels.
Juelsminde is a small port full of atmosphere and many activities and definitely worth a visit.
If you like adventures, you shold go to Løveparken Givskud Zoo. Here you can get quite close to 40 lions and more than 700 exotic animals in their element . You will find animals from all over the world.
