Skærbæk
resort consists of 55 holiday cottages, which are highly coveted by families
with children, active families and seniors alike, as they are suitable for big
family gatherings or group lettings. Some of the houses are completely non
smoking and with no pets allowed. Some of them are even accessible for the
disabled. Other houses allow pets at a fee of 200 DKK per pet.
The houses
are furnished with a kitchen, a satellite dish TV with 18 programs, a CD
player, a radio and a covered terrace with furniture. A wireless internet
access is available.
The houses
are located in calm surroundings near the resort and close to the Skærbæk town
centre, where there are many specialised stores. As a guest in one of these
houses, you have free entrance to the water park, the fitness centre and the
play park within opening hours. You can book a badminton course, free of
charge.
The water
park is provided with three swimming pools with temperatures between 28 and 33
degrees celcius. The air condition is set at 30 degrees for impeccable
comfort. There is a 53 metre water slide
track, two diving boards and a variety of water games. There is also a wellness
centre with sauna, whirlpool, steam bath, a sun terrace and many more, a
bowling track, a café and a new restaurant, called Staffeli, which has a
children’s menu.
At the fitness centre,
you can order a massage and a physiotherapy session. In the two large sport
halls, you can play badminton, hockey and many more. The resort is furthermore provided with a
launderette equipped with driers. There is an artistic workshop with
exhibitions and an activity centre which offers several courses and an art
shop.
In the
outdoor area are a playground, a petanque court, a campfire place, a beach
volley court, tennis courts and large green areas. There are many activities
for the children in the school vacations. The Rømø beach is within a 10 min
drive, and the German border within short distance.
Cleaning, bed linen, a baby package,
bicycles, a grill and many more can be rented at an additional charge. Electricity
charges at DKK 2, 25/kWh.
